The program is located in Yangshuo County, 65 kilometres (40 miles) away from Guilin in the north-eastern part of Guangxi Province, which has its renowned karst terrain. The 60-kilometer (37-mile) long river section in the Yangshuo area is the essence of the famous Li River cruise. The Xingping landscape, Yangdi landscape and Yulonghe scenic area are known as the best of the Li River attractions. The rural charms of peasant villages, fields and rivers in the Guilin-Yangshuo area have attracted many off-the-beaten-track travellers and cycling adventurers. In town, the West Street (also called Foreigners' Street) area is flanked with elegant south-China residential houses built over crisscrossed water channels. Numerous exotic bars, restaurants and cafes are housed in the delicate ranchhouses on each side of the street and offer all kinds of Western and Chinese food.

Requirements
- Bachelor Degree preferred
- Be a citizen of Ireland, UK, US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand.
- Hold a valid passport
- Be a native English speaker
- Have no criminal record
- Be in good physical and mental health
- Be between 22 and 45
- Provide CV, copies of academic quialifcations or transcripts, a scanned image of your passport and Garda Vetting.

Details of tasks
- Teach a minimum of 20 per week
- Plan creative engaging lessons
- Keep accurate and organised class attendance list and grades
- Participate in school functions
- Be at school Monday - Friday
- Participate in morning assembly and weekly gate greeting
- Participate in one English camp/semester
- Maintain positive relationships with local teachers
Working days
Monday - Friday. Normally teachers will have weekends off.
