Students can choose to live with a family in a Summer School homestay arrangement or to live on campus in 'rooms'. Both housing options cover the seven-week summer school period. Students are responsible for their own housing if arriving or departing outside of these dates.

Family Homestay:

This option has proved very popular with students over the years. The benefits of living with people from another culture are well documented. Our homestay arrangements add an important cultural dimension to the Summer School because as part of a family you have an opportunity to share ideas and opinions about Ireland and North America. Students who choose this option are housed with a family in the Dublin area, within a bus or tram journey of Trinity Campus. All meals and a city bus/tram pass are included.

Trinity Rooms:

Alternatively, living in 'rooms' on campus in Ireland's oldest university is an atmospheric experience to add to your Summer School stay. Housed with other students attending the Summer School, take advantage of being located right in the heart of the city. This housing arrangement includes continental breakfast and kitchen facilities are provided.

All Wisconsin and Michigan students will be housed in Trinity Rooms.

Queens Elms Residences:

During the week in Belfast, students will be housed in the campus dorms at Queen's University Belfast. The university is located in a leafy residential area, close to the city centre.

Note:

The inclusive cost of the Summer School covers the homestay option and a week on campus in Queens University. A fee supplement applies for the Trinity College on campus housing option.
