  • Completed Application Form (download here)
    Scholar Card: with school stamp OR letter from principal
  • Passport-type Photo
    Name and date of birth printed on back.
  • Photo ID
    Student Card: OR Registration receipt / letter from college plus passport or driver's licence.
    Scholar Card: OR School stamp on back of your photo (to confirm your identity).
  • Scholar Card: Original birth certificate or passport or drivers licence.

  • Full-time study towards a Degree, Diploma or Higher Studies Cert.
Language School / PLC
  • Job Skills / FÁS course
  • Full-time training, min. 20 hours per week for 6 months, towards a recognised qualification (NCVA, City Guides etc. )
Professional Training
  • Chartered Accountants/Solicitors
    Combination of class time & compulsory ‘on the job’ training
 
  • Over 12 years of age
  • In Secondary School studying towards:
    • A levels
      OR
    • O Levels
      OR
    • Junior Certificate
      OR
    • Leaving Certificate

    Please Note: Part-time and evening students are NOT eligible for an ISIC. Under 26s should check out the IYC or EYC.

    Procedures and Tips

    Please note some of the following guidelines that will help you in securing your new ISIC card in minimal time!
    • CAO forms are not acceptable proof of student status for the coming year.
    • College ID’s must state full-time status and valid year.
    • If you are using a letter as proof of full-time status - you must present official ID.
    • Postgraduates must provide a supplementary letter to prove full-time status if not stated on their College ID.
    • Language College - Letters must state start and finish date, number of hours & qualification received. All letters must be original, on headed paper with original stamp.
    • Scholars - We only accept Official ID accompanied with an original birth certificate, (please note, we don’t not accept Dublin Bus ID).
