This shelter can be described as a small village that has at the moment 8 houses with 8 to 10 family members (children and substitute parents). The children are usually sent there by the courts. These can be orphans or kids that have suffered some type of mistreatment at home. Children from the orphanage and children from other 5 communities come to local school called “Rio Blanco”, that is in the same orphanage area.
