  • Day 1Perth

    Arrive at any time.

    There are no activities planned until an evening welcome meeting. If you arrive early, opt to visit nearby Freemantle, visit a vineyard at the Swan Valley Wineries, hit the beach at Cottesloe, take a day trip to Rottnest Island to spot the adorable Quokka, or explore the city at your own pace!

    Arrival Day and Welcome Meeting

    The adventure begins tonight. Feel free to explore before your welcome meeting, but make sure you’re back in time to meet the group. After introductions, your CEO will review the details of your tour. Please note that normal check-in times apply at our start hotels, but you can usually store your luggage for the day if you arrive early.

  • Day 2Perth / Kalgoorlie

    Depart early from Perth and head east through Western Australia to Coolgardie. Continue on to Kalgoorlie.

    Drive to Kalgoorlie, the largest town in the region, founded during the gold rush in 1893.

  • Day 3Kalgoorlie / Esperance

    Visit the Royal Flying Doctors and the Super Pit, an open-cut gold mine. Continue on to Esperance, known for its stunning setting combining the bush, beach and granite. Camp under the stars in a traditional swag (padded canvas bedroll).

    Continue on to Esperance, taking in the blue ocean and white-sand beaches.

    Learn more about the Royal Flying Doctor Service, a vital life link providing urgent medical care to people who live in Australia's most remote areas and who otherwise don't have access to hospitals or clinics.

    Super Pit Gold Mine Visit

    Visit the Super Pit Gold Mine, still in operation 24/7. View the mining activities and learn more about the importance of this industry to Western Australia. A long sleeve shirt, long pants and closed toe shoes must be worn for this activity. Disposable overalls are available for purchase locally at a nominal fee.

  • Day 4Esperance

    Travel to Cape Le Grand National Park and hike up Frenchman's Peak for spectacular views of the area. Swim in the turquoise waters of Lucky Bay and Hellfire Bay. Return to Esperance for the evening.

    Get out and explore this gorgeous national park. Walk from Rossiter Bay to Lucky Bay and spend time enjoying the area. Visit Hellfire Bay and Thistle Cove before spending some free time enjoying the beaches or hiking around a little more.

    Frenchman's Peak Hike

    Look for markers at the base of Frenchman's Peak which point to the trail up this sloping 262m (860) high granite cone. Scramble over boulders and brace against the wind. This hike can be quite difficult, especially in the heat of the summer. Bring water, and wear a hat and sunscreen. Stand at the summit, take a photo and admire the gorgeous views across the park.

      Jump into the clear, turquoise waters of Lucky Bay and enjoy the pristine, white sand beaches. This beach is recognized as one of the best in the world with the whitest sand in Australia.

      Spend some time splashing in the waves at Hellfire Bay. The massive waves seen from the shore lose momentum by the time the reach the bay creating a perfect place to swim.

    • Hiking

      Lace up those hiking boots and start exploring the trails of Cape Le Grand National Park. Admire the wild fauna in the area and pass by stunning beaches. Ask your CEO about the best areas to start hiking.

  • Day 5Esperance / Albany

    Drive through the Stirling Ranges on the way to Albany. Opt to enjoy the coastal views over King George Sound by foot or by bike. Whale tours can be organized in season.

    The drive to Albany is beautiful in itself. Opt to relax on the beach.

      This activity depends on the fitness level of the group and if time allows.

      Visit Stirling Range National Park, located approximately 100km (62 mi) from Albany the park protects the range of mountains and hills. The view of the green and brown mountains as far as the eye can see—60km (37 mi) to be precise—alone is worth stopping at the park.

    Head for the Rainbow Coast. Stop to see highlights along the way like the Gap and Natural Bridge. Take a canopy treetop walk. Continue on to Margaret River, a spot famous for its wineries.

    Explore the stunning natural formations along the Rainbow Coast. Visit The Gap and Natural Bridge where thousands of years of wave action has carved away the granite to create both a gap and a bridge of stone.

    Treetop Canopy Walk

    Visit the Valley of the Giants. Take a canopy treetop walk to discover the massive, 400-year-old Karri trees.

    Take a surf lesson then head straight to the vineyards. Enjoy a tour and wine tasting at local wineries.

    Surfing Lesson

    Head out for a morning surf lesson in the warm waves of Australia's famous West Coast. Learn the fundamentals of catching a wave and test our your new skills in the water.

    Wine Tasting and Tour

    Margaret River is one of Australia's famous wine producing regions. Visit several wineries to learn about their grapes and production of wine before sampling their wares. The area is split evenly between red and wine production and includes big name grapes such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Merlot, as well as Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay. Cheers, mate!

    Visit the Ngilgi Cave to listen to some Aboriginal legends. Stop at the famous jetty in Busselton en route to Perth. Tour ends upon arrival to Perth in the evening. Booking post-tour accommodation is recommended to experience all this city has to offer.

    Ngilgi Cave Visit

    Visit the Ngilgi Caves to learn more about the Wardandi people, their culture and the legends that live within the confines of this karst cave. Listen to Dreamtime stories and and the sounds of the didgeridoo.

    Busselton Jetty Stop

    Visit the Busselton Jetty, extending 1.8km (1 mi) across Geographe Bay, a gorgeous setting in its own right. The heritage-listed structure is the longest timber-piled jetty in the Southern Hemisphere.
