With Soccer Academy USA coaches are contacted to work for up to 9 months and contracts can start from February – March 2018. Participants start working with one club in the springtime and are based for the duration of their spring contract with this club. Throughout the summer coaches are contracted to work with different clubs around the US. Coaches will get an opportunity to travel to different states and met new coaches from around the world. After the summer programme has finished, coaches return to their original club for the Autumn. The Soccer Academy programme finishes for Winter and coaches return home in November 2018.

You’ll work an average of 30 hours a week, most of that will be coaching, but you’ll also be expected to assist on promotional work as well. 2-4 hours of coaching in the evenings with weekend work, whether it’s coaching or evaluating games. You’ll be working with a wide age of ranges, from youths to adults, and will be expected to report on a weekly basis to your respective regional manager.
Coaches will be paid a weekly salary which will be dependent upon the number of previous seasons worked as a Trainer. A bank account will be opened for you and each coach will be provided with an ATM card. Accommodation in the majority of cases will be with local families and is free.
Transportation whilst in the USA and Canada is provided in the form of rental cars. Each staff member will receive a coaching kit valued at over $400, together with a curriculum which has been developed over the years to implement the varied camp and trainer programmes we offer at each location.
Coaches are contracted for 30 hours of work per week. The majority of this will be coaching but in addition the coach will be expected to assist the Soccer Regional Director in promotional work for the Soccer Camps.
In the Spring and Fall a typical week will consist of 2– 4 hours of coaching each evening and then weekend work consisting of coaching and/or evaluating games. The nature of the coaching will be at the discretion of the club and candidates will need to possess the experience and flexibility to work with groups of wide age ranges and abilities. Candidates will be expected to work with youths and adults and will be expected to report on a weekly basis to their respective Regional Director.
Coaches will be paid a weekly salary which will be dependent upon the number of previous seasons worked as a Trainer. Every coach pays a programme fee to participate on the 2018 programme. The programme Fee is used towards the up-front cost of securing working visa papers, comprehensive health insurance and to book flights to your assigned region in the USA.
Accommodation in the majority of cases will be with local families. Transportation whilst in the USA and Canada is provided by Challenger Sports, in the form of rental cars.

If you are offered a contract you will start your visa application process and you will be expected to attend our Orientation and Training weekend which in takes place at the place at the University of Warwick in Jan 2018 (dates to be confirmed).
